I think this statement is about how through media studies movies are now able to better represent different social groups correctly. I feel that this stamen mentions how the representation of different cultures, ages, social classes, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, and disability has been improving due to media studies. One movie that does a good job of showing the representation of another culture is "The woman king." This movie shows how a kingdom lived and survived even at the worst of times. We learn about their native dances, weaponry, clothing, and methods of healing.
